  • The Riding’s Barn

     

    Set in 55 acres of beautiful parkland, Theobalds Estate is a stunning venue for your wedding celebrations. the well kept lawns and Italian gardens of Theobalds Park create a breathtaking first impression. The “Ridings Barn” is a charming and exclusive reception room. The Barn opens out onto a Mediterranean-style courtyard and is the perfect spot for enjoying a few drinks and socialising with your guests.

    We have supplied the entertainment for many weddings at this venue and we love the fact that The Ridings Barn is a superb sized modern looking room, The acoustics are fantastic so the music always sounds great whatever volume we are playing at and most importantly the dance floor is situated next to the bar ensuring your guests can grab a quick drink when needed and return to the dance floor without losing much time.

     

    Our view

     

    The only down side for a DJ is that you have to park quite far away from the venue and drag your equipment through the courtyard (However we have a large trolley that enables us to get all the equipment inside in 2 trips)

    Thankfully the venue allows an early set up which is fantastic as we can set up in the morning and return at whatever time we are required to start

    The staff are always friendly and helpful and it is always a very enjoyable experience to DJ at this venue

  • We could not fault the service provided for us by Herts Events and our dj Andy. We provided Andy with a list of songs before the night, which was adhered to, but Andy soon picked up on the theme of the evening and was able to keep people on the dance floor all night, with a mixture of classic hits and all time favourites, with a few modern requests thrown into the mix.
    The set was perfect for us, as was the lightening and sound and just as we imagined. In addition to this, when the timings of our day changed slightly and we asked if Andy could come half an hour earlier, he very kindly offered to do so at no extra cost.
    We would strongly recommend using Andy (and Herts Events)
    He helped make our wedding day the amazing day that it was and we plan to use him again in the future.
