I’m Andy from Herts Events, a full-time multi-genre DJ specialising in weddings, parties and private events.
With over 20 years’ experience and more than 1,500 events behind me, I know how to read a room and get the music right for the people in front of me. Whether you are looking for relaxed music in the background, a busy dancefloor or a bit of both throughout the evening, I’ll build the music around you and your guests.

My DJ packages are flexible depending on what you need for your day. You can book an Evening DJ Package covering the evening reception, with professional sound, lighting and music planning, or choose an All-Day Package if you’d like music for your ceremony, drinks reception, wedding breakfast and evening party.

Q: Can we choose the music for our event?
Absolutely. You can share must-play songs, do-not-play tracks and your preferred genres. If you’re unsure what will work best for your guests, I’ll guide you and help shape a playlist that keeps the flow natural and the dancefloor full.
Q: Do you supply all the sound and lighting equipment?
Yes, I bring a full professional setup including high-quality speakers, modern lighting, DJ booth, microphones and optional upgrades. Everything is set up neatly and timed so your event runs smoothly from start to finish.
Q: How long do you typically play for?
A standard evening DJ set usually runs for up to five hours, but this can be extended depending on your event. All-day options are also available, covering ceremony music, drinks reception, background music and hosting.
Q: How far in advance should we book?
Popular dates, especially weekends can fill up 12–18 months in advance. As soon as your venue and date are confirmed, it’s best to get in touch. Last-minute bookings are sometimes available, so it’s always worth checking.
