Planning a wedding comes with hundreds of decisions — so I’ve made the Wedding DJ FAQ as clear and helpful as possible. If you can’t find what you need, I’m always happy to chat.
Q: Will you play our favourite songs — and avoid the ones we don’t want?
Absolutely. You’re welcome to send me your must-plays, favourite genres and any “Do Not Play” songs.
I’m a multi-genre DJ and can mix everything from R&B, House and Kisstory Anthems to Soul, Disco, Pop, Indie and timeless classics. I build the music around your style and read the crowd on the night.
Q: What lighting do you provide?
I use professional LED moving heads, uplighting, elegant colour washes and personalised effects designed to enhance your venue rather than overwhelm it.
You can even add a custom gobo projection with your names or message — I only charge the cost of producing it.

Q: Can you provide ceremony or daytime music too?
Yes — I can cover your entire day, including:
Ceremony music
Drinks reception
Background music through dinner
Evening DJ set
Additional hours can be added easily at a reduced rate.

Q: What happens if you can’t attend?
This has never happened — but if I were suddenly unable to attend due to an emergency or illness, I have trusted DJs I can call on immediately.

Q: Can we meet you before booking?
Of course. I’m always happy to chat by phone or video call so you can get a feel for my style and ask any questions before deciding.
Q: Do you take song requests from guests?
Yes — unless you prefer otherwise. I prioritise your chosen music and then take requests that fit your taste and keep the atmosphere just right.
Q: How far do you travel?
I’m based in Hertfordshire but regularly DJ across Essex, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, London and the rest of the UK.
Travel is always agreed upfront so there are no surprises.

A booking invoice
A clear contract
Full details including timings, venue, package and contact info
A small deposit secures your date, with the remaining balance due one month before your wedding.
PAT & PLI documents are available anytime — just ask.
